In his role as developer and general counsel, Mr. Jones has extensive experience in land use, design, entitlements, construction, marketing and hospitality in residential and resort developments.  With projects in the United States and abroad, Mr. Jones has successfully participated in projects in multiple jurisdictions.  Prior to his existing role, Mr. Jones served as Regional General Counsel for a Fortune 200 National Home Builder in the United States, overseeing that firm’s various single family and multifamily developments throughout Texas.  Prior to that, he worked for one of the largest international law firms, where he was involved in transactions involving numerous commercial and residential developments.  From a shopping mall in downtown Chicago, an industrial park in Austin, retail anchor stores across the United States, and numerous single family and multifamily developments, Mr. Jones has significant real estate and business experience in the most complex transactions.  He has worked with some of the largest private equity funds, major retailers and residential and resort developers in assisting in their developments throughout the country.  With such an extensive background in all phases of commercial and residential development, Mr. Jones brings a great deal of legal and business experience to the development team.
